Spring Fair

The Westholme Association Spring Fair

One of the highlights of the Westholme Association’s calendar is the Spring Fair which was held on Saturday 2nd April.  It is always a wonderful occasion where all the school sites come together to have lots of fun and to raise money for School.  This year the Fair raised over £7,000 – an amazing figure for which the Westholme Association is very grateful.

The Fair offers fun and games in the sports hall, an array of fabulous stalls selling books, plants, toys, accessories and Mothers’ Day gifts.  The Designer Lucky Bag Dip stall was particularly popular, selling out by 10.30am!  The Nail Bar and Princess Stall was a must for some of the younger pupils and the Stocks also proved a popular choice!

The Dining Hall enticed with aromas from the Shajan Takeaway stall, the Cake Stall which was as fantastic as ever, and, of course, the Candy Floss stall which not only provided lovely treats but kept everyone entertained as they watched the staff in their shower caps!  The Westholme Stall had brand new selection of Westholme merchandise, as well as the Westholme biscuits which always sell out quickly!

This year’s Fair was rounded off with the Finale of the 24 Hour Music Marathon with the exhausted choir singing the Bee Gee’s Medley to rapturous applause.

All in all, it was another successful Fair and the Westholme Association would like to thank all the parents and staff who helped out on stalls, came along to the event or very kindly donated items – the Association couldn’t do it without you!
