Supporting the Salvation Army

Major Katerina Lennox speaks to students

This morning in we welcomed Major Katerina Lennox to assembly at Senior School. Major Lennox spoke to students about the work the Salvation Army does both internationally and locally, offering support, care and hope to those in need.

Westholme are planning to support the Salvation Army with a number of charitable initiatives. Firstly, a food collection will take place throughout the year. Students are asked to bring in a tin of preserved food once a month. The collection will take place in the Learning Resource Centre. Later this term a non uniform day will also be held to help raise money for the Salvation Army.

We would like to thank Major Lennox for coming in to speak to our students today.
