Pre School ventured into the woods to enjoy a Teddy Bears’ Picnic
As part of their topic on ”˜Journeys’ the Pre School children enjoyed a journey of their own to Wilmar Lodge for a Teddy Bears’ picnic.
They left Billinge House with their teddy bear rucksacks and arrived in the woods at Wilmar Lodge to find that Richmond the Bear, was already there!
In the week leading up to the picnic, each child had lovingly made their own teddy bear, filling it with stuffing and a ”˜wish cloud’. As they sat down to enjoy their snack, they unpacked their bears and let them join in too! Some of the children had brought binoculars and enjoyed using them when they spotted a grey squirrel!
The children also enjoyed a game of pass the parcel before their journey back to Billinge House.
