NCS Summer Programme

This week, Year 12 students received an assembly presentation about this year’s summer NCS programme. The programme is 3 weeks long and takes place in the summer holidays. It consists of a 5 day outdoor residential followed by a week of activities and workshops and finally a social action project in the local community.

NCS is an excellent opportunity for students to develop essential key skills, make new friends and share exciting experiences. It is a fantastic addition to any CV or application form and I do hope that Year 12 students will seize this opportunity. Many Westholme students have taken part in the past and have found it a thoroughly enjoyable and invaluable experience.

The NCS programme is also available to Year 11 students and they will receive further information after the Easter break.

More information can be found at https://wearencs.com/sign-up-to-ncs and a sign-up pack has been emailed to all Year 12 students.
