RW present a Wii Fit to the Children’s Ward at Royal Blackburn Hospital
The children in RW have been raising money for the children’s ward at the Royal Blackburn Hospital this year. They have saved their money from the Harvest collection and also raised some more by buying stickers to send as Christmas cards. Once they had enough money they asked the nurses what they’d like for the children’s ward and it was decided that a Wii Fit would help the poorly children recover in hospital and get them moving and having fun while they got better.
Today Anna, Aisha and Daniel went to the hospital with Mrs Northin to present the Wii Fit to the nurses and they put it under the Christmas tree for the children to open. They also saw the lovely Christmas decorations and had a look at where the children play and do their school work while they are in hospital.
