Prep 6 PGL
Last weekend, Prep 6 had a fantastic time at Newby Wiske Hall PGL; we couldn’t have asked for better weather. The activities pushed us out of our comfort zone, but we supported each other and all had a fantastic trip.
We tackled our fear of heights, and used all our strength, on the climbing wall, the vertical challenge and the trapeze. Even the teachers were challenged, but they also gave us a helping hand up too.
Many of the activities gave us the opportunity to work as a team and develop our communication and problem-solving skills. While raft building, teamwork was key, yet most of us still managed to end up drenched by the end and in Laser Tag we had to take cover and communicate to defeat our opponents.
We learned the new game of aeroball and focussed our archery session to ensure our aim was on point.
We are all very grateful to the PGL instructors who led our activities, but especially Laila who was our leader for the weekend.
