On Friday, Year 12 went to the UK University & Apprenticeship Search event at Old Trafford Stadium, Manchester.
Students were able to chat to representatives from a wide range of Universities from Oxford University to the Institute for Contemporary Theatre, to find out about courses and entry requirements.
There were also many businesses offering Higher and Degree Level Apprenticeships and work experience including PwC, Capgemini, Virgin, Airbus and Ernst &Young and representatives from a company who support Sport scholarship applications to universities in the U.S..
Students had the opportunity to attend a variety of seminars throughout the day offering advice about Apprenticeships, Studying at University and UCAS applications. Year 12 were able to take advantage of the wealth of expertise and advice on offer and have returned to school with plenty of information to help them make informed decisions about their future and to prepare for their UCAS applications next term.
