The Year 8 Latin students have worked hard to design, build and decorate a Roman villa, based upon what they have been studying in lessons.
Their intricate designs included authentic details that made the decision to judge the winner a really difficult one. In the end, Mrs Horner was torn between two models, one for the beautiful decoration of the villa, whilst also maintaining accuracy in the design, and the other for its incredible attention to detail, lovely presentation and perfect authenticity.
Therefore, congratulations go to Jacob Smith and Maisie Banks, our joint winners in this year’s competition. Mr Oracz would like to congratulate all of the students for working so hard in and out of lessons on their villas, as the calibre on display was excellent from every single student.
