Billinge House children enjoy the start of term
The children at Billinge House have been very busy during the first couple of weeks of the autumn term.
Pre-School children have enjoyed taking part in a ballet class which is now offered to them – isn’t it every little girl’s dream to be a ballerina?

Children in Reception have been enjoying the outdoors, as they began a search for signs of autumn. They found lots of berries around the grounds of Billinge House and also found lots of leaves on the floor. They discovered that the leaves had started to change colour from the lovely greens they saw over the summer, to beautiful oranges and browns that are associated with autumn. Indoors, they have been getting to grips with patterns and sequencing.
In their Geography lessons, Year One have been learning about the local area – they went on an interesting walk taking in all the different sights along the way.
As you can see, it has been an busy couple of weeks – here’s to the next few!
