Mark Tompsett visits Prep Swimming Gala

Big thank you to Westholme Alumni, and Paralympic Bronze medalist Mark Tompsett for coming in this morning and being guest of honour at our Prep swimming gala.

Students, staff and parents were treated to a spectacle, with Mark even getting back in the pool and taking on Westholme students in a race to begin proceedings!

Prep students then began their races, representing their Houses. It was day three of the galas taking place, with their fellow Prep students having taken part in their races on Monday and Tuesday. Mark was even on hand to offer each student a fist pump after the end of their races.

Finally, after the student races, it was time for the staff race. Mrs Hornby, Mrs Dixon, Miss Ross and Mr Barnett got involved to see who could come out on top.

Well done to everyone who was involved in the races, and a special thank you to Mark again for making a special appearance. Best of luck for all your future races!
