Riddles with Year 2

Year 2 riddles to be published!

During their LAMDA lessons, our Year 2 children have studied different types of poetry and, in particular, riddles. They explored riddles and then had a go at writing their own.  

Mrs Dixon then entered them into a competition run by ”˜Young Writers’ called ”˜My First Riddle’.   These children have had their riddles selected to be published in a book entitled ”˜My First Riddle – Northern Riddlers’ which will appear in the British Library and in further libraries across the UK.

Congratulations to all the children.   Be sure to look out for the book when it is published.
