Goodbye class of 2014
Today marks the last official day that the Upper Sixth Form spent at Westholme, a definite milestone in their lives and traditionally a day of celebration.
The day was filled with emotion as the girls looked back on the time they spent at Westholme, the friends they made and the many things they learnt, achieved and celebrated.
The annual Stand Down assembly was full of entertainment including musical performances, poetry and the traditional Stand Down video.
Mrs Waldron, Head of Sixth Form highlighted how the girls are now going out to face the future with their whole lives in front of them. Throughout the morning, the girls reminisced about school trips, their most memorable moments in school, school lunches and much more.
As the assembly drew to a close, a montage of photos of their Westholme lives scrolled across the screen – a fitting way to say goodbye indeed!
After a delicious lunch that also saw parents enjoy, it was time for the girls to leave.
Goodbye and good luck class of 2014.
