Work experience placement in Brussels
Following her success in the essay competition set by MEP Mr Sajjad Karim earlier this year, Jessica Keenan last week set off on her work experience placement in Brussels. This prize was a fantastic opportunity for Jessica and she got a superb insight in to the role of an MEP.
Whilst there, Jessica attended meetings at the European Parliament Accreditation Centre, visited the Parliamentarium and spent time in offices completing tasks. Her tasks included researching possible avenues for the UK, post-Brexit, and new Conservative candidate proposals. Amongst this she was also able to spend time exploring the city of Brussels.
Thank you to Mr Karim for offering this amazing experience to one of our students.
