Sixth Form Oxbridge session

This week, a number of students were fortunate to benefit from an Oxbridge session on personal statements and the college selection process, with Old Westholmian Julia Gartold taking time out from her studies at Oxford to lead a session with our current applicants.

Since leaving Westholme, where she was Deputy Head Girl and led and set up various initiatives, Julia has kindly given up her spare time to come back to Westholme and give help and advice to students on quite a few occasions.

Julia led a session with our students in the morning, lending her expertise on the application process. We are very grateful for her to visit us once again and share her knowledge with the Sixth Formers. It was fantastic learning experience for the students involved, especially to be able to learn from an alumna who had been in their shoes not too long ago.

We now look forward to seeing those personal statements taking shape, alongside all of the wider work being done in and out of lessons.
