Youngest ever winner at Fairhaven
We are excited to report the latest golfing achievement of Westholme’s Sophie Lamb who this week competed in an international golf competition held at Fairhaven. This competition featured the best junior players from all over Europe, and further afield – all playing off a handicap of 1 or better.
On a tense and exciting final day of competition, Sophie came from 4 shots behind to shoot a final round of 3 under par 72 and triumph by one shot! Sophie, at the age of 15, became the youngest ever winner of this prestigious event and reduced her handicap again – she now plays off +0.1.
We very much look forward to hearing more of Sophie’s golfing success in the future.
